Built web and mobile applications for clients ranging from startups to enterprise. Notable projects include the front-end for STAGE+ (Universal Music Group’s classical streaming platform), website and admin tools for Darkroom (photo & video editing app), the Tele2 mobile app, Catawiki’s seller platform, and internal tools for DEPT.

Other clients include Secrid, la fille d’O, The Embassies, House of Beautiful Business, Soulcenter, Park-line Aqua, LTP, Videodock, Zeal Records, and Rockstart.

Part of the Future Internet Lab team, working on civic tech and open data projects. Built a data browser for Transparant Nederland showing connections in Dutch government, created an open source hardware prototype for measuring urban air quality, and contributed to platforms for European textile labs and Dutch geodata.

Part of the web team helping people make more sustainable shopping choices. Rewrote their main website for better performance and maintainability, and created the Checkit App, a React Native shopping list that helps users find sustainable products.

Co-founded an online restaurant reservation platform. Built the Node.js/PostgreSQL API and web application, and set up automated phone and email communication between restaurants and customers. Received seed funding but closed due to insufficient growth.

Part of the web team helping musicians share their work. Built SoundCloud's first single-page app from prototype to production, created an internal styleguide for consistent interfaces, improved the embeddable player's cross-browser reliability, and built integrations for SONOS and WordPress.

Part of the web team helping people discover new music. Rebuilt the main Last.fm website from a complete redesign, created a festival finder for live music events, and built visualisations to show users their listening patterns.

Internship at a digital agency in Brussels, where I assisted on client web projects and documented the experience in an internship report.
